What’s one of the saddest moments of your life?
“When I saw a woman hanging from a tree limb, being beaten by a man. Are you sure you can handle this?”
I asked. If you’re willing to share, I am willing to listen.
“When I was abused. It’s a lot, ya know. It’s a lot. Are you sure you can handle this? I’m learning to share this stuff. Ever since then, I’ve learned to help people. I’m the friendly homeless guy.”
What would your advice be to a large group of young people?
“Be you. Grow up. Experience things. Respect your parents or whoever is in your life. Don’t be afraid to be hurt. Because people want to hurt you. Don’t be afraid. Whatever you do in life, take that hurt and give it to somebody else with a positive note.”
